Beernerd.app - Week 9 Release Notes
This week we finished all the MVP requirements for beer die tournaments 🚀. Shifting gears to a new activity in the app 👀

Monday, December 8th
- 🦾 Completed
toss_timeline data transformation. The toss_timeline is a JSON blob that stores each action that occurs in a game in chronological order.
- We were not adding the
nextToss selection when Fifa was enabled (causing improper game calculation for stats over tosses).
- Select defender drops were duplicated in
TossTimeline inflating drops by 1 in stats over tosses.
- 🐛 Bug Fixes:
- Fix for the breadcrumbs component to always have an
onClick handler defined (uncovered bug where no function was provided).
- Fix defender ID calculation
- Fixed hit efficiency gradient colors chart
- 🤩 New Feature:
- added table for aggregate stats across a tournament for each individual player.
- 🔨 Refactored our chart components to be reusable for aggregate stats.
Tuesday, December 9th
- Massive PR - we added all charts for aggregate data in a tournament.
- Team meeting with Sacco about product design for the drink counter. Had our first really successful refinement session!
Wednesday, December 10th
- Added a section to our landing page to fulfill Google requirements to brand our OAUTH screen (meaning no more Supabase non-human readable redirect url listed when signing in with Google).
- Tested my luck with Reddit Posts marketing, in an attempt to get Fraternities onboarded!
- We were able to land a couple of Fraternities that are interested!
- Restyled our Auth flow and set up Beernerd to go full passwordless.
- Beernerd will fully run off of OTP so that a user never needs to remember a password.
- Awaiting Twilio campaign approval to ship this change to Production.

- 👀 Added a config screen to
/home?view=record to create a new drink counter activity.
Thursday, December 11th
- Tables and RLS policies created for our new drink counter activity.
- Added action to create a drink counter activity from the config screen.
- 😢 Got rejected from YCombinator, but only going to make it that much more sweet when we hit 100 MAU 😈!
Friday, December 12th
- Google approved our OAUTH application! No more sketchy branded google sign-ups!
- 🆕 Added route and state provider for Drink counter
/record/drink-counter/[gameId].
- Ability to join a drink counter
- Start the drink counter
- Menu components
- Timer components
- Avatar stack of users that are currently in the session
Saturday/Sunday, December 13th-14th
- Saturday I surfed in the morning and in the afternoon went to 🎅 Santa Con with some friends.
- Sunday I took some much needed time to catch up on chores and have a proper Sunday reset (plus I detailed my car 🏎️).
Really excited to say that the MVP for Beer die tournaments is fully shipped 🚀. Over the next 2 weeks Sacco and I are committed on shipping an MVP drink counter. Wish us luck 🍀!
